Rapid Results Approach

It takes good leadership to achieve lasting results in the drive to reduce poverty and improve lives – and it takes a good results coach to help them build leadership capacity to manage the process of change for results and to overcome implementation challenges. Since 2005, the results coach network, supported by a WBI team have been engaged in Rapid Results Initiatives to help leaders across the world improve capacity for diagnosing institutional constraints, improving project/program management, increasing the results-focused of their work, facilitating multi-stakeholder engagement, and jump-starting implementation of problem projects. Building on these successes, this Community of Practice hopes to connect results coaches to each other and to all those with interests in results-based management to exchange and tackle bottlenecks and problem areas in order to enhance the quality of our work.

The WBI Rapid Results Program is part of a larger program on Facilitating Change and Engagement for Results – Addressing the Implementation Challenge (FACE), which addresses the “how” of managing the reform and change process and achieving results. FACE offers participants a series of strategic and practical approaches/tools to addressing context-specific challenges, including:

  • Introductory Framework on Adaptive Challenges and Creation of Space for Change
  • Operational Level Political Economy Analysis
  • Strategic Communication
  • Rapid Results Approach

The WBI Rapid Results Program is managed by Ms. Karen Sirker and supported by our in-residence RRA expert Mr. Benjamina Randrianarivelo. For further information and support on Rapid Results, please contact Linh Le or Benjamina Randrianarivelo.
